Mr. Colodny focuses his practice on insurance regulatory law, governmental affairs and representation of insurance companies, Fortune 1000 companies and banks before government agencies and quasi-judicial public boards and commissions. As former General Counsel for the Florida Residential Property and Casualty Joint Underwriting Association and its successor, Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, he was instrumental in negotiating several billion dollars in related catastrophe claims funding. He is currently a member of Florida Underwriter magazine's Editorial Advisory Board.
Mr. Karlinsky leads the firm's Insurance Regulatory and Governmental Consulting divisions. He serves as Florida Counsel to the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI); General Counsel and Chief Lobbyist for the Florida Property & Casualty Association (FPCA) and Counsel for a number of other insurance carriers and interests. He was also recently admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida.
